The 2011 Hong Kong Tennis Classic has 3 of the Top 5 ranked women in the world competing on the hard courts at the Victoria Park Tennis Stadium in Causeway Bay. These pictures were taken on Wednesday 5 January during the first semi final between World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki and No.11 Li Na.

The 20-year-old Wozniacki from Denmark plays World No.2 Vera Zvonareva of Russia in the final this Saturday 8 January. The 26-year-old Zvonareva defeated No.5 Venus Williams 6-4 6-2 in the 2nd semi final last night.
The 1.77m Wozniacki is using a different racquet this year – the Yonex VCore 100s and her racquet stringer in Hong Kong confirmed that the string tension of her racquet is 25kgs. The main strings in her racquet are the Yonex Poly Tour and the cross strings are natural gut.
The 28-year-old Li Na of China is pictured belowserving it up to the World No.1. Li made the semi finals of the 2010 Australian Open in her career best result in a Grand Slam singles event and fought hard before losing 4-6 3-6.
