US Open 2011: August 23-September 10

The 2011 US Open Grand Slam singles tournament is one of only 4 Grand Slam tournaments held each year and is played on hard courts. The United States Tennis Association (USTA) holds the US Open, also known as “The Open”, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York City.

The 1st round of the main draw will commence on Monday 29 August and the qualifying event will begin on Tuesday 23 August. The Women’s Singles Final will be played on Saturday 9 September and the Men’s Singles Final on Sunday 10 September. Pictured above is the centre court at the US Open form the very last row in the stadium.
