Wimbledon 2018 Dates

The 2018 Wimbledon tennis championships will be the 50th anniversary of Wimbledon being played in the open-era of tennis. The 2017 singles champions Garbine Muguruza and Roger Federer will be back to defend their titles: for Federer he now has 8 Big W titles and for Muguruza it was a first Wimbledon after having been runner-up in 2015.

The 2018 Wimbledon tournament schedule is listed below to make it easier for you to buy your Wimbledon tennis tickets, watch and/or follow this tournament. This Wimbledon schedule includes the dates, what time play commences for each day and which round of the singles draws are being played each day.

The 2018 Wimbledon tennis tickets first become available by public ballot in December this year. For more details about how to book Wimbledon tickets please visit the official Wimbledon website-> wimbledon.com/en_GB/tickets/index.html.

The Wimbledon 2018 full tournament schedule of play is:

Qualifying event –

  • Monday 26 June: Qualifying 1st round at 10am;
  • Tuesday 27 June: Qualifying 1st round at 10am;
  • Thursday 28 June: Qualifying 1st round at 10am;
  • Friday 29 June Qualifying 2nd round at 10am;
  • Friday 30 June: Qualifying final round at 12 noon;

Main Draw 1st Week…

  • Monday 2 July: Main Draw 1st round from 12 noon;
  • Tuesday 3 July: 1st round from 12 noon;
  • Wednesday 4 July: 2nd round from 12 noon;
  • Thursday 5 July: 2nd round from 12 noon;
  • Friday 6 July: 3rd round from 12 noon;
  • Saturday 7 July: 3rd round from 12 noon;
  • Sunday 8 July: No matches played;

Main Draw 2nd Week…

  • Monday 9 July: Round of 16 from 12 noon;
  • Tuesday 10 July: Women’s Quarter Finals from 12 noon;
  • Wednesday 11 July: Men’s Quarter Finals from 12 noon;
  • Thursday 12 July: Women’s Semi Finals from 1pm;
  • Friday 13 July: Men’s Semi Finals from 1pm;
  • Saturday 14 July: Women’s Singles Final at 2pm.
  • Sunday 15 July: Men’s Singles Final at 2pm.

Please note that the tournament management can alter the schedule from day to day.
