  2. Hi Patrick,

Firstly, thank you so much for visiting and commenting on OnCourt Advantage. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga definitely has the form to reach the Australian Open final. In fact Tsonga as the No.6 seed is the favourite to win his round of 16 match against No.24 seed Kei Nishikori. This match is being played on Monday 23 January at 12:30pm Melbourne time on Hisense Arena. Tsonga will make his fourth Australian Open in the past 5 years with a win against Nishikori. In his last two Grand Slam singles events Tsonga set career-best achievements i.e. semi finalist at Wimbledon and quarter finalist at the US Open. Tsonga was the runner-up at the 2008 Australian Open, made the semis in 2010 and if he continues his upward path over the last 7 months he could set a new personal best at his most consistently performed Grand Slam, by winning the Australian Open.
