I train players who REALLY want to improve their game. Currently my students are loosely made up of 50% adults and 50% juniors/children. I thoroughly enjoy coaching all levels of students and ages of players that are ready to learn and improve.

I love training my current students who are keen to learn the game in order to be able to play with their friends socially, as well as competitively, making the school teams and representing their schools successfully, in both junior and adult tournaments.

I coach players who want to be WTA and ATP professional players. I have already trained ATP and WTA players in the past. I train juniors who want to gain a world junior ranking on the ITF Tour. I have trained many juniors to become ranked in the world and up through the world ranks. I have trained both boys and girls to be the highest ranked junior in their whole country.

I would love to train YOU so you can really improve your game or are looking to learn the right fundamentals as a beginner. Competitive players if YOU want to drastically improve your performance level and win more tennis matches.

I look forward to seeing you on the court!

  1. Jay is the most knowledgeable and best coach/teacher I have ever met (in comparison, I have had training from world class coaches, mostly according to the coaches themselves, before) I visit Singapore for work every 2/3 months for the past year and he was able to get me a powerful but effortless forehand, he fixed my backhand (I really know what I need to do now), even my slice (the balls went up all the time for a reason I could not figure out) is now working. And then the most important stroke of all (some say that, i do not totally agree..), the serve. He gave me, without me realizing, a kick serve that i can now use for both 1st and 2nd service. Removing the problem of double faulting and giving the opponent enough trouble because of the spin/kick. If I just do as he told me to do, I am such a better player! Since tennis is a mental game, even if you have figured out the mechanics and the proper technique…with Jay’s guidance I am learning the most critical thing of all, how to perform under pressure in matches by using his mental training processes. It is all such an eye opener and I can’t wait to train with my club friends to amaze them with my progress. Tennis is still a sport that requires hours on the court but all I will do is follow Jay’s tips and tricks and the match results will come for sure. Thanks Jay! The 3 times we met the past 1.5 week were all eye openers and will help me to attack and improve at least 3 bottle-necks in my game very quickly!

  3. I really enjoyed the lesson you gave me at the Grand Hyatt in Singapore. Particularly, I valued your explanations and philosophy on the game of tennis. We also talked about what tennis raquet would be best for my style of play, and you said to email you back to talk further about this.

    Thanks for all your help!

  10. Thank you!

I just wanted to let you know how much fun Nathalie had with her two days of camp. She enjoyed practicing, playing matches and developing camaraderie with the other girls. The two days did a lot to revive her interest and enthusiasm for tennis. She came home each day with smiles and a lot of stories to tell. She can’t wait for the next camp. Thank you for offering such a wonderful experience for her.

    Regards, Vy

  21. Hi,
I am very sad to know that you will be leaving to Singapore as Prisha has never wanted to do tennis but I have persisted for the past couple of years and coaches, with you she is really enjoying it and asking if she can have more than 1 lesson each week, but I wish you the best as Singapore is a lovely city. Will see you on Monday.
    Thanks,
    Karishma

  22. I am so sorry to hear that you are leaving Hong Kong. I hope that Singapore will be a wonderful experience for you, it is a lovely city where the sun shines a lot and you won’t have to deal with any cold weather.

Chris is very sad that you are leaving as he enjoyed learning from you. It is the highest accolade when a boy his age says “he is a brilliant coach mum and lots of fun as well” so, thank you.

We wish you the very best and thank you.

    Regards
    Hajra
